The X marks the Tongariro National Park A very good hostel near the Tongariro National Park is the Extreme Backpacker in Turangi. They can give you advice and help for your trip into the National Park and they also rent out equipment (e.g. Ice Crampons and Ice Axes in winter). Very helpful!! |
