The X marks the Eastcape

If you plan to see the sunrise at the Eastcape do NOT stay at the Te Araroa Holiday Park. Ugly and not very nice (in June 2003)!

You have to get up early enough to get to the Eastcape and see the sunrise. The drive on the unsealed road takes about 30-45 minutes from Te Araroa. Don´t forget to take a torch with you to find the steps in the dark!
